Secrets

A stranger, more than I’d care to think.

I’ll miss a moment if I blink.

Past a tethered link,

And somehow, we’re in sync.

Bite the words we wish to recite,

Shaded from the beaming light.

Redefine wrong from right.

Long for no other sight.

In fables of fiction, we connected;

Our secrets, in whispers, still protected.

And though the city suspected,

The voices, we neglected.

In these shadows, a great desire.

And as your tender eyes inspire —

Transcending dimensions higher —

You set my soul on fire.
