About Me
Based in Amsterdam, I am a Lebanese-Dutch creative with a soft spot for hard techno.
My story as a writer begins at the young age of 8, when I started using my iPod’s notes app as a virtual journal for silly poems. My passion for writing as only amplified since, awarding me the Creative Writing Award in tenth grade due to my commitment to the school’s ‘Literary Cafe’, and eventually leading me to my BSc Communication Science at the University of Amsterdam.
In 2022, my love for electronic music led me to complete a six-month PR & Marketing Internship at Armada Music, which launched my career as a copywriter in the music industry. Ever since, I have been regularly assisting my ex-supervisor, Justine Servais, working on press releases and biographies for the likes of Vintage Culture, Fideles, Glowal, Massano, and many more. I then joined The Music Recruiters/Thirty-Three Group as a freelance Junior Project Manager, and Next Stage Academy as their Community & Growth Manager. In 2023, I co-founded the underground collective, SENTIENCE*, which aims to promote emerging house and techno talent, and where I am currently a resident DJ.
This website is an online portfolio displaying my work both as a professional and as a creative. Every piece contains a fragment of myself, from my perception of the songs I promote to my take on the human experience.
Inspired by my emotions and observations, my poems are my cryptic diary entries, most of them written enigmatically in narratives open to interpretation. This allows me the chance to redefine each composition every time I analyze it, and the foreign reader the freedom to decipher it as they wish. I hope you find yourself in one of my pieces.
