Lost Our Way

Let’s just say

We’ve lost our way,

Yet one can comprehend

That if today

We chose to stay,

This road will cease no end.

Our time has passed,

Our journeys last,

And endings far from near…

Our cherished past,

And prospects vast;

What else is there to fear?

Though far from home,

You know you’ll roam

Forever in my heart,

Engraved in stone,

But on our own

Whenever we must part.
